 Roma tomatoes are excellent for canning, making into sauce, using in sauces and soups, and slicing up for salads. They have a lower water content and fewer seeds than many other tomatoes.

 Roma tomatoes are easy to seed. Just cut into quarters. Use a paring knife to remove the seed sack.
